Thst would be my M52TUB28. The sad thing is that the euro version of my car got an aluminum block.

Well....the crankcase is aluminium, but the cylinder barrels are cast iron, so I claim it counts as modern blocks are one-piece (minus their heads!)! :D
The FIAT 126's Inline 2-cylinder 652cc engine! (Though all displacement variations of it were the same, as were the older FIAT 500's engine AFAIK!)

Bringing reverse-flow cylinder heads into the new millennium! I’ve had mine since 2002. I’ve overheated it severely multiple times, I’ve run it with no oil, I’ve bounced it off the rev limiter... it won’t die. I’ve transplanted it from one rusted out Jeep into a non-rusted-out Jeep, but I’ve never so much as removed the valve cover. It sucks gas, has zero power and sounds like a diesel, though... so I should probably give it a rebuild at some point.

All iron.

hah. I have a ‘96 with 150k on it. CEL just came on recently. My reaction: “Meh. Probably an O2 sensor”

Use the key trick to get the 2-digit code- no code reader necessary!

Oh I know the trick. I only drive it twice a month or so in the summer, so it’s not really on my priority list.

I have a 96 with 150k on it. CEL is on. It is an 02 sensor.
